Who knew the third movie in a series could be just as exciting as the first two?! Pitch Perfect 3 cleverly took the a cappella hits everyone loved from the first two movies and combined them with a thrilling action story.

The Bellas are out of college and onto working (or trying to work) real world jobs. When they come together for a reunion, they realize how much they miss singing together, so they decide to tour Europe and try to win a contest to open for DJ Khaled. After a lot of singing, as well as the failures, mishaps, and hysterics fans have come to expect, most of which are courtesy of Fat Amy, they finally make it to the top once again. The movie ends with a final moment of the Bellas gracing the stage and singing together.

The director of this movie, Trish Sie, really outdid herself. Most people dread sequels to movies because they are never as good as the first. This third movie was aca-mazing without taking away from the first or straying too far from the original plot. The combination of action, comedy, and unbelievable song choices, such as “Toxic” by Britney Spears, “Sit Still, Look Pretty” by Daya, and “Ex’s and Oh’s” by Elle King, makes Pitch Perfect 3 the perfect ending to an aca-awesome trilogy.
