Jason McGowan and Sawyer Hemsley established Crumbl Cookies in 2017, with the goal of developing the best gourmet cookie bakery with the right technology. Hemsley created Crumbl with the goal to make the world’s best chocolate chip cookie. He teamed up with his cousin, McGowan, to make this dream possible. The two of them experimented with different ingredients and baking processes until they came up with what they claim is the best chocolate chip cookie in the world. After perfecting their recipe, the duo opened their first store in Utah back in 2017. Crumbl’s delectable cookies would be unmatched without their signature pink box. Crumbl’s packaging, whether a 4-pack, 6-pack, or 12-pack box, are intended to precisely fit each cookie side-by-side. The incomparable shape and signature pink color make the brand easily recognizable and distinguishable from any other competitor cookie brand. Since its opening, Crumbl has opened over 200 stores nationwide.
Crumbl has maintained its social media buzz by offering unique weekly flavors and serving cookies straight from the oven. As the company grew, so did their flavor selection. Since day one, Crumbl has offered their award-winning chocolate chip cookie, but in December 2018, they introduced their iconic four-flavor weekly rotation. Today, their menu features more than 100 enticing flavors and at least six to choose from each week.
